Turn, kneel, bow: to make a bow. Wear a blue raincoat, move with ease. Water. Sound of flowing, from a tape. Microscopic “objéts trouvés”: sounds, words, movements. In “Sorrow Love Song” they accumulate, whirl into loops, make sense for a second. And burst again. What remains? A strange experience of time. For ten years, the French group Kubilaï Khan Investigations has been inviting artists from all disciplines. For this production they come from Japan – bringing with them their current cultural vocabulary.
